"Sound, music. Come, my queen, take hands with me,
and rock the ground whereon these sleepers be."
  William Shakespeare – A Midsummer Night’s Dream

The Oberon Trio

The trio’s name is taken from Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, in which Oberon, the king of the fairies, leads and oversees the realm of magic, fantasy and playful delight. The members of the Oberon Trio have joined together to explore the magical world of play and fantasy that lies at the heart of music-making. Representing no single musical school or tradition, their music comes from a sense of fresh curiosity and discovery, their performances directed towards the goal of transmitting music to their audiences as something perpetually vibrant, personal and alive.
